Troubled Teen Programs

Having a troubled teen that is rebellious, defiant, and disrespectful can be very difficult and taxing as a parent. The first step to finding relief is determining what options are out there for you and your troubled teen. Options for a defiant teen could be counseling, family support, family therapy, boot camps, wilderness programs, residential treatment programs, boarding schools, and more. Every situation is different and not one program is the best situation for everyone.

Sending a troubled teen away for treatment may be a hard decision to make, but there are several different options available out there. Some teen treatment programs are short term running anywhere from 2-8 weeks and other teen treatment programs are longer term and continue as needed. Of course, the costs associated with these troubled teen treatment programs vary depending upon the length of time and the amount of therapy that is provided or required.

A troubled teen residential treatment program is a live-in, therapy, behavior modification, educational facility for adolescents who present a variety of conditions, ranging from drug abuse to violence to sexual behavioral problems as well as mental illnesses.
