About Olympus Academy

Olympus Academy is a co-ed Residential Treatment Center for struggling teen boys and girls, ages 12-18 years old, located in beautiful, scenic, Southern Utah. We offer long-term, professional care for students suffering from: ADD/ADHD, Autism, learning difficulties, addiction, anxiety, depression, and other destructive behavior. This at risk youth program provides a quality education for students in a positive and uplifting environment.

Olympus Academy uses different therapeutic techniques to ensure that each individual child receives the type of help that is going to work for them. Students can learn many valuable life and social skills like: effective communication, self-confidence, respect, and teamwork.

Our mission is to be a highly respected and reliable learning foundation for youth who are the rising future leaders. Our goal is to cultivate an attitude that encourages every student to be better each day. To make the most of each day, and not take for granted the blessings at times may come easy. To see the good in everything. To learn from struggles, trials, and overcome weaknesses, in order to master one self. To focus on improvement inwardly, in order to affect positive change outwardly till inner character grows strong with integrity. We shall stand as a leader for good and valuable purposes in all aspects of life.

Joe Ahquin

Executive Director

Joe Ahquin comes to Olympus with passion, education and experiencing in providing unprecedented help for struggling teenagers. He has been noted as the creator of other programs in Utah, such as Liahona Academy (2001) and Key Point (2006). Joe has always wanted to incorporate a nurturing campus to match his innovative ideas with helping each youth make lasting progress int heir life.

Max Ahquin

Admissions Director

Max Ahquin has a passion for helping other achieve their goals. He is well known for his big heart and understands the urgency that every parent has when seeking help. He ensures that all staff in the admissioins department care for each family's needs as if it were their own.
