About Michael Birch

When I recognized that only I could control my life, I began to make better choices. Now, my passion is to help others identify the issues keeping them from living the successful lives they desire and to provide them with the tools and support that will make those wants and needs a reality.
I have seen in my own life how anger steals relationships, jobs and joy. Addictions are powerful, yet I am living proof they can be overcome. I want to help others follow their hungers and provide proven tools that will lead to satisfying relationships, successful careers and lasting satisfaction.
While I have both a bachelor’s and master’s in psychology, my approach is very practical, grounded in what I have seen work in my experience as a counselor in residential treatment settings as well as in my own life.
I’ve also learned that no matter how successful or destructive life looks from the outside, we all have the same basic needs – to be affirmed, to matter and to have success. While the covers are different, the books are very similar.
My journey may be similar to yours or very different. My belief is that by getting to the deeper issues around why life is less satisfying than it can be, I can help you live to your fullest potential without carrying all the baggage of your past.

My passion is working with those struggling with addiction and helping them find a way out.
