The majority of teenage mothers also face an unpropitious future. Often times forced to drop out of school, these young women face a life of moderate expectations. Teenage mothers generally never finish high school, let alone enter a college, so the lower level of education hinders them in getting a proper job needed to provide for a child or to be prepared for the parenting that lies ahead of them. Career options for troubled teens facing teenage pregnancy are few and far between.
