Why Do People Not Like Elevations RTC?

When a parent realizes that they must get help for their troubled teen, it is often a depressing and confusing feeling. Every parent wants what is best for their child, and they ma feel as though they are “giving up” when they decide to place their teen in a residential treatment facility. However, this is certainly not the case. Rather, you are proving that you want the very best opportunities for your son or daughter and are reaching beyond yourself for the assistance that they need.

Still, the process is a difficult one, and we at Elevations understand that. We also understand that because of this, once you have decided on our program and end up reading negative reviews about it, you may feel even more discouraged, wondering about your discernment, and questions how you can go through with this at all.

Please know, Elevations RTC is proud of their program that is state and nationally accredited and licensed. We work hard to help each student—and their family—receive the care and attention that they need. The reality is, there are a few organizations, (mostly arranged online) that are against the entire troubled teen treatment ideals and believe that every program is harmful, and never helpful. They will do whatever they can to spread the word of this, even go so far as to give out negative reviews that are completely false. They will post false facts on their website and others, determined to discourage any parent from seeking help for their teen through a residential treatment program.

Elevations RTC welcomes any and all inquiries into its program, and encourages you to call our family advocates to discuss with them the ideals and qualities set forth in our widely-respected curriculum. We know that once you see the real “us,” you will be just as encouraged and comforted as all of our parents have been thus far.
